PEACH SALSA RECIPE
This fresh and juicy peach salsa recipe is a summer must! Ripe peaches, tomatoes, peppers, jalapenos, cilantro, and lime all tossed together to give you the perfect sweet and spicy peach salsa. This will quickly replace all your other salsa recipes, making it the perfect dip appetizer, or as a topping for your favorite proteins.
WHAT YOU NEED-
- Peaches– This recipe calls for fresh, ripe peaches, not too ripe and not underripe.
- Onion– You can use either red onion or sweet yellow onion for this delicious peach salsa dip!
- Pepper– Either mini or regular bell peppers can be used for this salsa. I recommend using the red or orange bell pepper. Peppers add the perfect sweet crunch to this salsa.
- Jalapenos– You want to use fresh jalapenos! Add some of the seeds for a spicier salsa. You can substitute for canned jalapenos if you need.
- Garlic– Freshly minced garlic cloves bring so much flavor to this fresh salsa! You can also use canned jarred garlic if that’s all you have on hand.
- Cilantro– Fresh chopped cilantro adds so many added flavors to this fresh salsa! If you do not like cilantro, then you can opt out of adding cilantro to the dish.
- Lime– Fresh lime juice and lime zest brings that tangy zest flavor to this recipe. You can also use lemon instead.
- Flavor– To season the salsa, I use salt and chili powder. You can also use Tajin seasonings for the perfect pairing!

There are several different variations to fruit salsa that you need to try!

- Peach Habanero Salsa– If you are not afraid of spice, swap the jalapenos for habanero peppers and make a peach habanero salsa, a true classic!

SERVING IDEAS
There are several different ways that you can enjoy this fresh peach salsa!
- Appetizer– Serve this as an appetizer with your favorite tortilla chips! I love serving this salsa with lime tortilla chips.
- Topping– Use this fruit salsa as a topping on your proteins! This salsa is paired great with grilled chicken thighs, blackened tilapia, or salmon.
- Side– Add this as a side to your chipotle bowls, shrimp tacos, or quesadillas.
QUESTIONS YOU MIGHT HAVE:
The peaches should be firm but have a tender feel to it, kind of like a tennis ball. If its rock hard or mushy, you do not want to use the peaches for this salsa.
There is a slight kick from the jalapenos in this salsa, but the spice level is low, since the sweetness from the mangoes is overpowering. If you want spicier salsa, don’t clean out the membrane of the jalapenos or swap for a spicier pepper.
I highly recommend leaving in the cilantro for added flavors, but you can leave it out if you don’t like cilantro.
The bell peppers add a crunchy texture to this salsa and also gives an additional sweet flavor.
Store the salsa in an airtight container or covered in the fridge for up to 2-3 days! I find that mango salsa is the best when it sits overnight, allowing all the flavors to blend.
