This shrimp taco recipe comes together with a simple and delicious creamy shrimp taco sauce. Make these seafood tacos for an easy weeknight dinner or when hosting!
WHAT YOU NEED-
- Tortillas– You can use either flour tortillas or corn tortillas for these tacos, whichever you prefer! For the best results, I highly recommend toasting your tortillas for the best results.
- Shrimp– Use either large or jumbo shrimp for your tacos! Make sure the shrimp is raw, peeled, deveined and tails are removed. Fresh or frozen shrimp can be used, if using frozen just thaw in cold water before making the tacos.
- Coleslaw– Either freshly shredded white cabbage or the precut coleslaw mix can be used. I like to buy the precut coleslaw cabbage mix to avoid extra work.
- Shrimp Taco Sauce– My homemade creamy shrimp taco sauce is what brings these shrimp tacos together!
- Cilantro– Topping these shrimp tacos with freshly chopped cilantro is highly recommended but optional.
