Adding the yogurt to the cream cheese helps make the dip less thick. If you prefer a thinner dip, add less cream cheese and more yogurt.
If the cream cheese is not softened and mixed before that will result in a lumpy dip. Be sure to mix the cream cheese first then add everything else to the smooth cream cheese.
You don’t want this dip to be left out for more than 2 hours.
