WHAT YOU NEED-

- M&Ms– Use regular M&Ms or any of the seasonal flavors of M&Ms. You can even try the peanut butter M&Ms!
HOW TO MAKE HERSHEY KISS PRETZELS
- Preheat the oven and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Unwrap your Hershey kisses.
- Layout a single layer of pretzels onto the lined baking sheet. Add a Hershey kiss to the center of each pretzel.
- Bake for about 4-5 minutes or until the kisses turn glossy.
- Remove from the oven and immediately top the Hershey kisses with M&Ms.
- Transfer the baking sheet to the fridge to chill until the chocolate has hardened.
- Serve and enjoy!
| Low Bake– The key to avoid a ruined batch of pretzel kisses, is that you bake these at a low heat. Hershey kisses don’t take a lot of heat until the chocolate burns. The chocolate will begin to turn glossy when it’s melted. You can even do a test by popping an M&M on one to see it is melted, better be safe than sorry! |

No, you can just leave these treats at the Hershey kisses or add different toppings such as pecans or almonds.
If stores are stored properly, the pretzels will not go stale. But you do want to eat these within a couple days to avoid a stale treat.
Yes, use gluten free pretzels for a yummy gluten free snack.
This means you burned the chocolate, be sure to not over bake the chocolate or you will ruin your treats.
When adding the M&Ms you want to make sure you push down so that goes into the chocolate and the chocolate also goes into the sides of the pretzel which helps it stick when hardened.
Once the chocolate has hardened, store these in an airtight bag to avoid it from going stale. Store at room temp, and not in a warm area to avoid the chocolate from melting. If stored properly, they can keep for up to a week!
I have tested storing these in the fridge and although you can, I recommend that you store at room temp because the chocolate tends to get cold and extra hard.
Yes! For the best results, we recommend you make them no more than 1 day ahead of time.
Easy Hershey Kiss Pretzels
Ingredients
- 50 regular pretzels
- 50 milk chocolate hershey kisses
- 50 classic M&Ms
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 200°F and line a large baking sheet with paper.
- Unwrap the Hershey’s Kisses, setting them aside for easy access. You’ll need one for each pretzel.
- Lay out a single layer of pretzels on the prepared baking sheet, using the desired amount of treats you prefer, or however many kisses you have.
- Place a Hershey’s Kiss onto the center of each pretzel.
- Bake at 200°F for about 4-5 minutes. Keep an eye on them: the Hershey Kisses should become glossy and soft, but they should not fully melt into puddles. The goal is to soften the chocolate just enough for the next step.
- Remove the baking sheet from the oven and immediately press an M&M candy into the center of each softened Hershey’s Kiss. The M&M will gently sink into the chocolate, and allow the chocolate to sink into the pretzel, helping it stick to the pretzel when the chocolate is hard.
- Place the baking sheet in the fridge for about 15-20 minutes, or until the chocolate has fully set and hardened.
- Once chilled, remove the Hershey’s Kiss Pretzels from the fridge. Serve them up at your next gathering or enjoy them as a sweet snack to satisfy your cravings!
