This grilled chicken wings recipe will give you the best juicy and smoky wings! The wings are mixed in a simple seasoning blend, then thrown on the grill and grilled to perfection.

GRILLED CHICKEN WINGS

These crispy and juicy grilled wings are going to become a go-to during grilling season. Seasoned wings thrown on the grill to give you smokey, charred and juicy chicken wings. These wings are a must-have for any cookout, game night, or casual weekend feast. Customize these wings with your favorite sauces for the ultimate meal!

WHAT YOU NEED-

  • Chicken Wings – You can use either fresh or frozen wings for this recipe. Both drumettes and wingettes work great. If you’re using frozen wings, make sure they are completely thawed before cooking.
  • Oil – Coating the wings in oil helps the seasoning stick better, which results in crispier wings.
  • Seasoning – We season the wings with salt, pepper, garlic, Italian seasoning, and paprika. Feel free to swap in your favorite spices to customize the flavor to your liking! Use seasonings like lemon pepper seasoning, dry BBQ rub, blackening seasoning, Cajun seasoning or any other spice blend you like.

HOW TO GRILL CHICKEN WINGS

Have these crispy grilled wings ready in under 30 minutes!

  1. Rinse and pat dry the chicken wings.
  2. In a large bowl, add the wings, oil, and seasonings and mix until fully combined.
  3. Preheat and clean the grill grates. Once the grill is hot, add the marinated chicken to the grill.
  4. Grill the wings on medium heat until crispy and cooked through, flipping as they cook. (If you are coating the wings in sauce, brush the wings in desired sauce about 2-3 minutes before removing from the grill.)
  5. Once the wings are cooked, remove the chicken from the grill.
  6. Serve with desired sides and sauces.

You can make these grilled wings ahead of time! You can marinate ahead of time or grill ahead of time up to 1-2 days and just reheat. Reheat in the air fryer or oven before serving.
