AIR FRYER BRATS

Cooking brats in the air fryer will get you delicious and easy results without needing to get out the grill! Get the perfect batch of brats sausage with a crispy golden outside and a juicy inside. Bratwurst sausage cooked in the air fryer with peppers and onions then served in a warm hoagie bun. Whether you are hosting a BBQ, prepping a weeknight dinner, or just in the mood for bratwurst, this easy recipe is the perfect choice.

WHAT YOU NEED-

  • Brats– You can use your favorite bratwurst; I like using the Johnsonville brand or the grocery store brand. Either classic or spicy bratwurst can be used.
  • Onions– Either red onion, cooking onion, or even sweet onion can be used. I love using red onion for this recipe.
  • Peppers– Red, orange, or yellow bell peppers can be used. I like to add a little bit of each color of bell pepper.
  • Flavors– To season the veggies, this recipe calls for salt, pepper, and some garlic powder.
  • Buns– Be sure to use high-quality hoagie buns for this recipe. Since these sausage links are bigger than classic hot dogs, hot dog buns will be a little bit too small for these.
