ROASTED BRUSSEL SPROUTS RECIPE

Nothing beats an easy, delicious and healthy side dish to pair with your meals! These simple roasted brussel sprouts are going to become a classic. Fresh sprouts tossed in a simple seasoning blend and oil and then baked until soft, tender and slightly crispy. The ultimate side dish no matter the occasion.

WHAT YOU NEED-

  • Brussel Sprouts– Be sure to use fresh brussel sprouts for this recipe. Some stores sell them still on the stalk, remove them from the stalk.
  • Oil– Tossing the sprouts in oil, gives them a golden crunch and added flavors. Use either olive oil, canola oil, truffle oil, vegetable oil, or avocado oil. Whichever oil you prefer will work.
  • Seasonings– For the seasonings, I just use a combo of all the classics, salt, pepper, garlic powder and paprika. You can use any of your favorite seasonings.

  5. Remove and top with fresh chopped greens and serve immediately. (Top with freshly grated parmesan for extra flavors.)

QUESTIONS YOU MIGHT HAVE:

Can I leave the brussel sprouts whole?

I recommend that you cut the brussel sprouts in half when roasting them.

Can I make these in the air fryer?

Yes, check out my air fryer Brussel sprouts recipe!

Does it matter what side the sprouts are laying on when they are roasting?

Some say to lay them cut side down for maximum crispiness, but I don’t see the need!

How do I know when my Brussel sprouts are done?

You want them to be easy to pierce with a fork. I like them on the crunchier side, so I will take them out a little bit earlier, but for a softer bite cook them a little longer.

How do I store roasted brussel sprouts?

Once the brussel sprouts are cooled, transfer to an airtight container and store it in the fridge for 3-4 days!

How do I reheat leftover brussel sprouts?

Reheat them in the microwave, air fryer, oven, or stove until warmed through. I even love snacking on them cold!
