AIR FRYER BRUSSEL SPROUTS

This crispy brussel sprouts recipe is a simple side dish that you can make in a jiffy! All you need to do is season and drizzle and then let the air fryer do the rest of work.

WHAT YOU NEED-

  • Brussel Sprouts– You want to use fresh brussel sprouts for this recipe.
  • Oil– Any type of oil will work for this recipe, this recipe uses olive oil.
  • Flavor– For flavor, we use salt, pepper, garlic, and paprika. You can use any of your go-to seasoning for this side.

HOW TO MAKE AIR FRIED BRUSSEL SPROUTS

All you need is a couple ingredients, a few minutes and an air fryer, so easy!

  1. Prep– Rinse the brussel sprouts and trim the ends off. Cut the sprouts in half and add them into a bowl. Toss in the oil and seasoning.
  2. Air Fry– Add the prepared brussel sprouts into the air fryer and cook at 400F for 10-12 minutes, or until golden crispy.
  3. Serve– Top with freshly chopped cilantro and parmesan cheese, if desired. Enjoy as a side dish or as a light lunch.

OTHER COOKING METHODS

If you are looking for a brussel sprouts recipe but don’t have an air fryer, don’t worry! We have two other classic cooking methods:

  • Oven– Preheat the oven to 400F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper and add the prepared brussel sprouts onto the sheet. Bake for about 20-25 minutes, or until tender and crispy.
  • Stovetop– Heat oil in a skillet on medium high heat. Add the brussel sprouts and cook for about 16-18 minutes, mixing often.

LEVEL UP THE DISH

Even though this simple brussel sprout recipe is delicious, you can still level up this dish! Check out some of the ways you can elevate this dish, all the while keeping this dish effortless!

  • Bacon– Toss the brussel sprouts with sauteed chopped bacon.
  • Parmesan– Sprinkle them with freshly grated parmesan. Pre-grated parmesan works great too!
  • Balsamic– Toss the sprouts on balsamic vinegar right before cooking, such a unique kick!
  • Feta Cheese– Serve the sprouts with crumbled feta cheese!
  • Sauteed Mushrooms and Onions– Add sauteed mushrooms and onions to the sprouts for a heartier dish.
