PIZZA QUESADILLA RECIPE
Craving pizza but you don’t have the time to make it? Make this simple pizza quesadilla recipe! It’s easy to make and will satisfy your pizza cravings! Quesadillas that are crispy, cheese and loaded with all your favorite pizza toppings. This pizza recipe is a quick and easy lunch, dinner, appetizer or snack that is loved by both kids and adults alike!
WHAT YOU NEED-
- Tortillas– Use a good quality medium burrito flour tortilla. You can also use low carb, gluten free, whole grain, or any other tortillas.
- Pepperoni– Use either classic pepperoni, turkey pepperoni or you can even use sliced salami. Either whole, chopped or mini pepperoni will work.
- Marinara Sauce– Adding some marinara sauce is a must in pizza and quesadillas! Use your favorite marinara or pizza sauce.
- Cheese– For the best results, I recommend that you use shredded Mozzarella cheese. You can also use Mexican blend, pizza blend, mild cheddar cheese, etc. I also love to top the quesadillas with some freshly grated parmesan cheese.
HOW TO MAKE PIZZA QUESADILLAS
This delicious pizza quesadilla recipe is delicious, easy and comes together in minutes!
- Spread a layer of marinara sauce on the inside of the tortilla.
- Then layer one side of the tortilla with cheese and pepperoni. Repeat with both tortillas. (You can either use whole, sliced, or chopped pepperoni.)
- Fold the empty side of the tortilla over the filling to close the quesadilla.
- Carefully add the quesadillas to a large skillet and cook on medium-low heat.
- Cook until the tortilla is crispy, golden and the cheese has melted.
- Remove and slice it into 2-3 pieces. Top with freshly grated parmesan cheese, freshly chopped greens.
- Serve immediately with warm marinara sauce or Wingstop Ranch.

Just like pizza, you can add additional toppings to the quesadilla filling! Here are some great ingredients to add:
- Ham
- Bacon
- Olives
- Pepperoncini
- Peppers
- Sausage
- Onions
- Jalapenos
- Mushrooms
- Spinach

You can make these pizza quesadillas keto friendly! Use a low-carb tortilla, keto-specific tortilla, along with sugar-free pizza sauce and low carb toppings!
Yes! These are great to make in the air fryer! Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray and add the quesadillas to the air fryer, spray the tops with some cooking spray. Air fry at 400°F for 5-6 minutes, or until it is crispy and cheese is melted.
Yes! Once the quesadillas are cooked and cool, store in the fridge for 4-5 days. When ready to enjoy, just reheat in the air fryer, oven, or skillet until rewarmed.

Pizza Quesadilla Recipe
Ingredients
- 2 tortillas
- 1/4 cup marinara sauce
- 1/2 cup pepperoni slices or chopped
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- freshly grated parmesan cheese optional topping
- fresh cilantro or parsley finely chopped
Instructions
- Spread marinara sauce over the tortilla, covering the whole surface.
- Add one half of the tortilla with shredded cheese and pepperoni, dividing the filling between both tortillas. (You can use whole slices or chop them up.)
- Fold the empty side of each tortilla over the filling to create a half-moon shape.
- Carefully add the quesadillas to a large skillet and cook over medium-low heat.
- Cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until the tortillas are golden brown and crisp, and the cheese is fully melted.
- Transfer to a cutting board and slice the quesadillas into halves or thirds. Sprinkle with freshly grated parmesan cheese and a handful of chopped parsley or basil for a fresh finish.
- Serve immediately with a side of warm marinara or Ranch for dipping.
