WHAT YOU NEED-
- Bread– You want to use high quality hoagie sandwich buns or a large French baguette. I like to go to my local grocery store bakery to get good quality sandwich bread.
- Garlic Butter– Toasting the bread with a flavorful garlic bread will give you golden, buttery, and crispy sandwiches! For a light version, you can just toast bread plain, opting out of the garlic bread.
- Romaine– Use fresh chopped romaine or lettuce for crisp Caesar salad.
- Parmesan– For the best results, you want to use freshly grated parmesan cheese, not the pre-grated parmesan.
- Chicken Cutlets-The hero of this chicken Caesar salad sandwich is the crispy yet juicy chicken cutlets! You can also swap grilled chicken, air fryer chicken or chicken tenders. For a quicker recipe, you can use pre-made frozen chicken cutlets.
- Caesar Salad Dressing– My easy homemade Caesar salad dressing totally brings this dish all together! You can also use your favorite store-bought Caesar salad dressing.
