WHAT YOU NEED-
- Bread– I love to use brioche bread for all my French toast recipes, but you can use any bread. Bread such as French bread, Challah, sourdough, sandwich bread or even Hawaiian rolls can be used when making French toast.
- Eggs– Fresh eggs are essential for creating that rich, custard-like coating on your bread.
- Creamβ You can opt for regular milk, half-and-half, or even flavored creamers like hazelnut or sweet cream for a sweeter twist for your stuffed French toast.
- Cinnamonβ A pinch of cinnamon adds a cozy, aromatic touch to the dish. Feel free to skip it if it’s not to your taste.
- Vanillaβ Adding vanilla extract to the egg mixture adds so much additional flavors!
- Nutella– For the filling, you want to use Nutella, or any other off brand hazelnut spread.
- Butter– To cook the French toast, you want to use unsalted butter. This will give you the perfect butter and crispy French toast.
