HOMEMADE BALSAMIC VINAIGRETTE DRESSING

.With its perfect balance of tangy balsamic vinegar, rich olive oil, and a touch of sweetness, this balsamic dressing adds a burst of flavor to any salad, vegetable dish, or even as a marinade. Simple to make and packed with fresh, vibrant ingredients, this recipe will quickly become your go-to for adding that extra something special to your meals.

Store-Bought VS Homemade– So often people are intimidated by making anything homemade, but it truly is easier than you think and WAY healthier! Making dressings homemade eliminates all the sulfates, preservatives and added flavors that have large salt and sugar content.

WHAT YOU NEED-

  • Balsamic Vinegar– Balsamic vinegar is the key ingredient to this dressing! This vinegar adds a tangy kick to the dressing! Be sure to use balsamic vinegar NOT balsamic glaze.
  • Oil– For the best results, you want to use olive oil! You can also substitute it for any other light flavored oils you prefer.
  • Honey– Adding honey to the vinaigrette balances out the tangy vinegar! You can use your favorite honey.
  • Dijon Mustard– Be sure to use Dijon mustard not regular yellow mustard. The Dijon gives this dressing so much extra flavor!
  • Garlic– For the best results, use freshly minced garlic for the dressing. You can also use jarred minced garlic, I don’t recommend substituting for garlic powder.
  • Flavor– To season the dressing, you want to use salt and pepper!
