AIR FRYER BREAKFAST POTATO
These breakfast potatoes are a great way to start the day! Pair with the classic breakfast sides for the best breakfast. The potatoes come together so effortlessly; this recipe will become your go-to method for cooking potatoes. Cubed potatoes tossed in oil and flavorful seasoning blend and then air fried until crispy.
WHAT YOU NEED-
- Potatoes– You can use your go-to potatoes for this recipe. Yukon gold, russet potatoes, Idaho potatoes, red potatoes, and even baby potatoes!
- Oil– For the oil, any oil you have on hand such as olive oil, canola oil, vegetable oil, or even avocado oil.
- Flavor– To season these potatoes, we use our go-to seasonings: salt, pepper, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and paprika! You can use your go-to seasonings, we love using the Gourmet Seasoning, Roast Vegetables & Fries Blend!
- Greens– Adding freshly chopped greens to these crispy potatoes totally elevates this dish! You can use freshly chopped parsley, cilantro, dill, or a combination of all!
HOW TO MAKE BREAKFAST POTATOES IN AIR FRYER
This recipe comes together so quickly and is so delicious and crispy!
- Wash and peel the potatoes. Cut into small bite sized cubes, all equal in size for even cooking.
- Transfer the potatoes into a bowl. Add in the oil and seasonings and toss until well combined.
- Add the seasoned potato to the air fryer basket and air fryer until crispy and golden.
- Transfer to a plate and top with freshly chopped greens, flakey salt and ground black pepper.
- Serve with desired side dishes.
OTHER COOKING METHODS-
No air fryer? No problem! You can totally make this breakfast potato recipe using other classic methods!
- Skillet– Add the potatoes to a large skillet and cook on medium heat, stirring occasionally. Cook for about 15-20 minutes or until potatoes are cooked through.
- Oven– Place the prepped potatoes on a baking sheet and bake at 450F for about 15 minutes or until cooked through.
| Reheating & Storing Leftovers– Store the leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days! Reheat in the microwave or air fryer until warmed. |

Crispy Air Fryer Breakfast Potatoes
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lbs Idaho potatoes cubed
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- 1 ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp ground black pepper
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ¼ tsp paprika
- ½ tsp Italian seasoning
Instructions
- Wash and peel the potatoes. Cut into small bite sized cubes, all equal in size for even cooking.
- Transfer the potatoes into a bowl. Add in the oil, salt, pepper, garlic, paprika, Italian seasoning and toss until well combined.
- Add the seasoned potato to the air fryer basket and air fryer for 400℉ for 13-15 minutes, until crispy and golden.
- Transfer to a plate and top with freshly chopped greens, flakey salt and ground black pepper.
- Serve with desired side dishes.
