Load the pizza dough with all the classic pizza toppings and it’s ready to bake! No overnight dough, just 2 hours rise time and then it’s ready to use. WHAT YOU NEED-

  • Pizza Dough– You can use either store-bought pizza dough or homemade pizza dough! If you are using my homemade dough, the recipe calls for all-purpose flour, warm water, salt, sugar, oil, and active dry yeast.
  • Oil– To work with the dough in the baking sheet, you want to use olive oil! This helps the dough from sticking to the sheet and helps you stretch the dough.
  • Marina Sauce– You want to use your favorite marinara or pizza sauce for this pizza recipe!
  • Cheese– The best cheese for pizza is mozzarella or a mix of parmesan and mozzarella. For the best results, shred the cheese fresh. You can also just use pre-shredded cheese.
  • Toppings– This sheet pan pizza is totally customizable, use any of your favorite toppings! For this recipe I use juicy ground sausage, pepperoni, and veggies.

HOW TO MAKE A SHEET PAN PIZZA

Not only is this sheet pan pizza cheesy and delicious, but it also comes together so effortlessly!

  1. In a bowl, combine all the ingredients, expect the flour, and mix to combine. (Be sure the water is no warmer than 110F or you will kill the yeast.)
  2. Add in the flour and mix to combine, kneading until a sticky dough forms. Cover and let rise for about 2-2 ½ hours, until the dough doubles.
  3. As the dough rises, prepare all the desired toppings for your pizza.
  4. Once the dough is ready, preheat the oven to 375°F.
  5. Drizzle the baking sheet with olive oil, brushing the entire sheet along with the sides.
  6. Transfer the pizza dough to the baking sheet. Drizzle the dough with olive oil. Then gently press and stretch the dough outward from the center until it covers the entire sheet. (If the dough springs back, let it rest for a few minutes and continue stretching.)
  7. Spread the pizza sauce over the dough, leaving some room around the edges for your crust.
  8. Top with shredded cheese and then add your choice of toppings all over the pizza.
  9. Bake the sheet pan pizza until the bottom of the crust is golden and cooked through and the cheese has melted.
  10. Remove from the oven and let cool for a couple minutes. Top with grated parmesan cheese and slice.
  11. Serve immediately with desired sides.
