LOADED CAESAR SALAD FRIES

This loaded Caesar salad fries recipe is the best of both worlds! If you love fresh crispy fries and Caesar salad, then you need to try this mashup recipe. Crunchy seasoned fries that are topped with a fresh bed of Caesar salad loaded with crispy chicken and topped with Parmesan cheese. This dish is a fun and delicious twist of two classics that are usually ordered together!

WHAT YOU NEED-

  • Fries– Either homemade French fries, store-bought frozen French fries, or even truffle fries can be used for this dish. They can either be fried, air fried, or baked, whichever you prefer.
  • Seasonings– When using frozen French fries, I love to season them for extra flavor! I use a mix of salt, pepper, garlic, and paprika. You can use any of your favorite seasonings or even a special French Fry seasoning.
  • Romaine– Either fresh romaine or iceberg lettuce can be used for the salad, I prefer Romaine.
  • Parmesan Cheese– You can have Caesar salad without Parmesan cheese! For the best results, I recommend that you use freshly grated parmesan, not pre-grated parmesan cheese.
  • Chicken– You can use your go-to chicken for the Caesar salad, whether grilled, air fried, baked, or pan-seared chicken. I love using chicken tenders, popcorn chicken, or blackened chicken for the Caesar salad.
  • Caesar Salad Dressing– For the best results, I recommend using my homemade Caesar salad dressing. You can also use store-bought dressing, whichever you prefer.

HOW TO MAKE LOADED CAESAR SALAD FRIES

The best thing about this mash-up recipe is how quickly it comes together!

  1. Toss the fries in the seasonings and air fry them until crispy and warmed through. (For extra crispiness, toss halfway through cooking time.)
  2. In the meantime, prepare the Caesar salad dressing.
  3. Toss the romaine, parmesan and chicken with the salad dressing until combined.
  4. Transfer the crispy French fries to your serving plate. Top with Ceasar salad and additional grated Parmesan.
  5. Serve immediately.

CAESAR SALAD VARIATIONS

You don’t have to just limit the Caesar salad to just romaine and Parmesan! You can totally add more ingredients to your salad for added flavors.

  • Bacon Bits
  • Red Onions
  • Croutons
  • Cherry Tomatoes

  • Pepperoncini’s

QUESTIONS YOU MIGHT HAVE:

Do I have to air fry the French fries?

No! You can totally bake the frozen French fries, or you can use homemade baked, fried or air-fried fries.

Can I use store-bought Caesar salad dressing?

Yes, if you don’t want to make the homemade dressing, you can totally use your favorite store-bought Caesar salad dressing.

Won’t the fries get soggy?

You want to eat this right away to avoid soggy fries and salad. I recommend only making enough to eat immediately.

Do I have to add chicken to the Caesar salad?

No, you can totally leave out the chicken or swap for bacon or even steak!
