WHAT YOU NEED-

  • Crab– You can use either fresh crab meat or imitation crab meat! I like to do a mix of both for the ultimate crab flavors.
  • Cream Cheese– Either classic cream cheese or low-fat cream cheese can be used. For the best results, you want to use softened cream cheese.
  • Mayo– To give this dip its creaminess, this recipe calls for mayo. You can use either Kewpie mayo, classic mayo or even Avocado mayo.
  • Sour Cream– Adding sour cream also helps thin out the dip and gives creaminess. Either sour cream or plain Greek yogurt can be used.
  • Worcestershire– One of the key flavors in the Rangoon dip is the Worcestershire sauce! You do not want to skip this ingredient.
  • Soy Sauce– For added flavors, this dip also calls for soy sauce! Either classic or low-sodium soy sauce can be used.
  • Cheese– This recipe calls for shredded mozzarella cheese. You can also use shredded Colby jack cheese, taco blend, or even pizza blend.
  • Green Onions– Either fresh green onions or chives can be added to this dip. I recommend using fresh green onions!
  • Garlic– Freshly minced garlic cloves, jarred minced garlic, or garlic powder can be used. I recommend using freshly minced garlic.
  • Black Pepper– For added flavors, use ground black pepper.
  • Sweet Chili Sauce– For the final touch, drizzle this creamy crab dip with sweet chili sauce once baked, so GOOD!

  1. Made it exactly as recipe stated and it wasn’t horrible, but definitely did not taste like a crab Rangoon. Tasted more like hot tuna dish. Was very disappointed.
