Rinse the chicken wings under cold water and pat them completely dry with paper towels.
In a large bowl, add the wings, oil, and seasonings and toss until the wings are fully and evenly coated.
2 1/2 lbs chicken wings, 2 Tbsp olive oil , or canola oil, 1 ½ tsp salt, ½ tsp ground black pepper, 1 tsp garlic powder, ½ tsp paprika, ½ tsp Italian seasoning
Place the wings in a single layer in the air fryer basket, making sure they don’t overlap. (If your air fryer is small, you may need to cook the wings in batches to avoid overcrowding.)
Air fry at 400°F for 20-22 minutes, flipping the wings halfway through the cooking time to ensure they cook evenly and become crispy on all sides.
Meanwhile, make the sauce. In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Once the butter is melted, remove from pan from the heat and add the rest of the sauce ingredients and mix to combine.
4 Tbsp unsalted or salted butter, melted, 4 garlic cloves, minced, 1/4 cup parsley, finely chopped, 1/3 cup parmesan cheese, freshly grated
When the wings are golden brown and crispy, transfer them to a bowl, pour the garlic parmesan sauce over top, and toss to coat.
Return the coated wings to the air fryer for an additional 1–2 minutes so the sauce can stick to the wings and caramelize slightly.
Remove the wings from the air fryer and transfer them to a serving platter. Top with additional grated parmesan cheese.
Serve immediately with your favorite sides and ranch for dipping.
