Easy tzatziki sauce recipe that gives you the ultimate flavor-packed sauce. Creamy sauce loaded with cucumber, garlic and herbs, the perfect sauce for dipping or drizzling.
Once the cucumber is grated, drain the excess juices by squeezing it in your hands by using a fine mesh sieve over a bowl or the sink.
1/2 cup fresh cucumber, grated
Add the drained grated cucumber to a bowl along with the rest of the ingredients for the tzatziki sauce.
1 cup plain Greek yogurt, 1/3 cup fresh cilantro, finely chopped, 1 Tbsp fresh dill, finely chopped, 4 garlic cloves, minced, 1 Tbsp lemon juice, 1/2 Tbsp olive oil, ½ tsp salt, pinch ground black pepper
Mix until well combined and then let it rest for a couple minutes to allow the flavors to blend. Taste the sauce and adjust the salt and garlic to desired taste.
Serve immediately or cover and let it chill in the fridge until ready for use. (Sauce can last in the fridge for 4-5 days.)
