Sift together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon and pumpkin pie spice in a bowl. Set aside.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the pumpkin puree, brown sugar, eggs, milk, vanilla, and melted butter.
Mix the dry ingredients with the wet ingredients until well combined.
Heat the waffle maker and spray with baking spray to avoid sticking.
Once ready, use a 1/3 cup measuring cup and scoop some batter into the center of the waffle maker. Once closed the batter will spread and fill the entire mold. (If you overfill, the batter will pour out causing a mess!)
Cook the waffles for about 5-6 minutes or until crispy and golden. Follow your waffle maker instructions for proper cook time, do NOT open the waffle maker before waffles are cooked through.
Meanwhile, prepare the waffle toppings.
Remove the waffles from the waffle maker. Repeat with the desired number of waffles.
Serve with your choice of toppings.
