Ingredients

  • 1 lb skinless salmon fillet cubed
  • 1/2 cup teriyaki sauce plus extra for brushing
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds optional for garnish

Instructions

  • Rinse the salmon fillet under cold water, then pat it dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
  • Cut the salmon into 1-inch bite-sized cubes, making sure each piece is roughly uniform in size for even cooking.
  • Place the cubed salmon into a medium-sized bowl or bag. Pour in the teriyaki sauce and gently toss or shake to mix to coat all the salmon in sauce.
  • Transfer the marinated salmon cubes into the air fryer basket in a single layer, making sure they’re not overcrowded for optimal crispiness.
  • Air fry the salmon at 400F for 7-8 minutes, or until the edges are crispy and golden.
  • Once the salmon is cooked, remove the basket from the air fryer. Brush the hot salmon bites with a little more teriyaki sauce to enhance the flavor and give them a glossy finish.
  • Sprinkle sesame seeds on top for a delightful crunch and nutty flavor.
  • Serve immediately with desired sides.
